Good morning brothers and sisters it has been a long time since we have met together. I think the last time was March 1st four months ago and so much has happened in that time, and it may be a while yet before we can meet together again.
With all that is going on in the world the scriptures, God’s voice, seems to be calling out.
“The earth my creation, groans for the liberating truths of my gospel which have been given for the salvation of the world.” Doctrine & Covenants 7
There is truly an awakening happening among God’s children and we are being called out in new ways. Let us prepare ourselves through earnest prayer and fasting. 2020 is a new time in our history there is much pain, suffering and turmoil both physically and spiritually like nothing we have experienced before.
God is calling us, God needs us, God is counting on us. Remember we are empowered by God for this work. Never before has the need been so great To proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of Joy, hope, love and peace.
We can choose how to look at things;
(1) The world is going to hell in a hand bag, or
(2) There is a great and marvelous work happening now.
“The challenges and opportunities are momentous. Will you remain hesitant in the shadows of your fears, insecurities, and competing loyalties? Or will you move forward in the light of your divinely instilled call and vision? The mission of Jesus Christ is what matters most for the journey ahead.” Doctrine & Covenants 164:e & f
I have given you a name, it is mine;
I have given you my spirit as a sign,
With my wonder in your soul, make my wounded children whole;
Go and tell my precious people they are mine.

MISSION PRAYER
God, where will your spirit lead today?
Help me to be fully awake and ready to respond.
Grant me the courage to risk something new and become a blessing of your love and peace. Amen
